Eugene brings over fifteen years experience designing and implementing innovative educational technologies, such as instructional content, assessment, data warehousing and curriculum mapping systems to bring about district and state-wide education reform.
In his role as COO of Footsteps2Brilliance®, he is focused on creating successful systemic educational reform—statewide and district-wide infrastructures—to create critical mass with the strongest adoption success rate within the country. Eugene began his career as an English teacher at Los Angeles Unified School District, and later became a Communications Professor at Illinois State University and Mount San Antonio College. He has a passion for helping accelerate the educational success of socio-disadvantaged populations, having previously served as an educator to these students.
