Free California Bilingual Early Literacy Initiative

The California Department of Education, under the leadership of State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond, and in partnership with Footsteps2Brilliance, Inc., is providing free access to a selection of 500 interactive and award-winning digital ebooks, songs, and activities. These fun resources are available in English and Spanish to all California children and families, creating a much-needed bridge between school and home. This initiative serves more than 40 million residents in the state.

In support of California’s early literacy focus, Footsteps2Brilliance is generously donating this free selection of ebooks, songs, games, and activities, valued at $27,000,000. Families and caregivers of young children and students can access these free resources via the Internet at www.footsteps2brilliance.com/california.

Take Learning to the Next Level The Model Innovation City Initiative

Footsteps2Brilliance has active and successful Model Innovation City licensed partnerships with county offices of education, school districts, and organizations throughout California and around the U.S. These transformative partnerships offer families and teachers access to the complete Footsteps2Brilliance suite of programs. In turn, schools, districts, and counties can use the Footsteps2Brilliance Report Dashboards to monitor impact on student achievement, make intervention decisions, and support academic fidelity for ALL students.
