First, I want to thank you for nominating me for the Featured Brilliant Minds recognition. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be considered for this award, which reflects my passion and dedication to my students’ learning.

Over the course of the year, I’ve witnessed my students grow as a team, working together to meet and exceed the expectations of Pre-K. I am proud to say that my students have developed a strong foundation in phonological awareness and can already read Level 1 books. Also Create a Book on the application have been a great resource. Others are in the process of learning, using academic tools, my teaching methods, and the FootSteps2Brilliant app.

One of the most rewarding moments has been seeing my students engage in successful projects, like creating their own books as authors and illustrators. In addition, my students are now confidently solving math problems, demonstrating their growing academic abilities.

For me, teaching is not just a job, but a vocation. I am driven by the joy of seeing my students learn, grow, and take pride in their accomplishments. This is what inspired me to incorporate the FootSteps2Brilliant tool into my classroom, and it has proven to be an incredible resource for my students, parents, and myself.

My teaching philosophy centers around creating a motivating, positive learning environment that encourages every student to learn and develop to their fullest potential. Students have 15 to 30 minutes of technology time each day, where they can choose to work with FootSteps2Brilliant. I carefully select activities for each student based on their individual learning levels and needs, which fosters motivation and allows them to learn through play. I am thrilled to see that my students often express a desire to complete multiple assignments each day. Their enthusiasm, effort, and dedication make me incredibly proud.

Collaboration with parents is also a cornerstone of my teaching practice. During parent-teacher conferences, I take the opportunity to educate families on how they can support their child’s academic progress and use the FootSteps2Brilliant app effectively. I believe that continuity between school and home is key to reinforcing student learning

.I want to take a moment to thank you again for the nomination, my assistant Mrs. Díaz for her unwavering support, my students for their hard work and dedication, and the families for their collaboration. I am committed to making each day an unforgettable learning experience for every student, and I look forward to continuing to see the bright smiles on their faces as they achieve new milestones.
