White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics

The National Partnership for Early Childhood Literacy is bringing together a range of stakeholders, including key early childhood practitioners, ELL experts, elected officials, community-based organizations, foundations, faith-based organizations, and corporate partners to create citywide literacy initiatives targeted at increasing the number of Hispanic children who enter school ready to learn, and become proficient readers by third grade.
