Full Moon Parade

This week's Family Friday is a fun interactive activity you can do on your own, or with others. After reading Full Moon Parade, you will bring the characters from the book to life and create your own scene. Have fun!

What you need:

  • Pre-made printable characters (here)
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Tape/glue
  • Scissors

Step 1

Click here for Full Moon Parade. You can find this book in your Footsteps2Brilliance app under Level 1 (Red) in the ALPS series. Read the book with your child. Be sure to touch the illustrations to see the pictures come alive!

Step 2

Print out the coloring pages (here). Cut out the characters.

 

Step 3

Tape or glue each character to a popsicle stick.

Use the characters to put on a show with your friends and family! Can you put the animals in the order that they appear in the story? Recreate the story from the book, or create your own! Have fun!
