The purpose of Footsteps2Brilliance’s Academic Language Program for Students (ALPS) is to accelerate language acquisition, vocabulary, and reading for Pre-K through 2nd grade students by connecting school and home through our mobile gaming platform (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and Web). Using a literacy-based approach, this series focuses on core academic vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, critical thinking, and student achievement tracking.

Footsteps2Brilliance and the Napa County Office of Education launched Napa’s Model Innovation County — a turn-key, countywide literacy initiative that addresses the third grade reading dilemma by utilizing the Footsteps2Brilliance Mobile Technology Platform to cost-effectively scale pre-K literacy apps to every family within Napa County’s jurisdiction.
